Infant formula is hard to find right now, first because of supply chain shortages, and now because of the Abbott Nutrition/Similac infant formula recall. Similac is the current contracted formula for Pennsylvania WIC families. This means that MFHS families are particularly affected, and are struggling to use WIC because the formulas available to them on the program are not in stock at WIC approved grocery stores.
A donation of $50 can purchase a can of formula that will feed an infant for almost 2 weeks.
Your donation will help our families who can’t find their formula, by allowing MFHS to directly purchase cans of formula to keep on hand for our clients. No mother should have to worry about how to feed her infant, and your gift can ease that burden during the recall.
